so every year during a three day weekend my family drives up to wisconsin and we ski cascade for the weekend. well ive heard that tyrol is really good, and have never been there before. my parents said its about an hour drive from where our hotel is. is it worth getting up early for the extra hour drive in the morning and hour back after skiing?

Cascade used to have a killer park 2 years ago. huge jumps with nice rails, etc.

now the jumps are really small, and there are still some rails, but the whole park is a lot smaller.

i would DEFINATELY suggest going to tyrol i think it would be a lot better. i also know that a lot of kids that got cascade passes last year are hittin up tyrol a lot more now.

Tyrol > Cascade for the park scene. Cascade has groomers, more lifts, and more of a tourist attraction place now... 75% of Cascades customer base is people from the Chicago area. So if you want long ass lift lines, small jumps, not a lot of rails, and over crowded with gapers, go to Cascade. If you want the opposite of that, go to Tyrol.

tyrols park never disappoints. they always heve alot of rails set up, and pretty sick jumps. definetly hit it up

Tyrol is good for park, quick lift lines, and more locals. Cascade is good for longer runs, and that's about it.

tyrol for sure, an hour is hardly a drive at all.
tyrol's park is always a good time, and there are a lot more jibbers there this year, so the chances of having some fellow freeskiers to ride with are fairly high at tyrol

Yes tyrol is gonna be kick ass if the new park manager knows what he is doing since johnny is now going to the U of U. I hope it still is as kick ass as it used to be, but it would for sure be worth the 1 hour drive, or maybe try and get your parents to compromise. Get a hotel that is equally far away from both.
