Twin Tips

I have a pair of apache's that don't do so hot in the park, any suggestions on some pretty cheap but good twin tips that are also pretty good in the pow?

well Line's skis are pretty cheap compared to others and you could get like the Anthems they are 93 under foot i don't know how exspensive the Sir Francis Bacons are cause they are like 112 under foot but are built more for park. The El Ray is a good all mountain ski it isnt that fat though.

Arite sweet, they don't have to be really fat, just enough to hav all mountain versatility and be able to handle some powder

Weight: 150

Height: just over 6'0

Ability: Advanced, skiied before i could walk (no lie) and have been skiing ever since

Where I'll use them: 1-2 weeks in Colorado/Utah each year, then the rest in Michigan :/

Age: Highschool

dude you have to keep in mind that I already h ave a pair of skis and DON'T HAVE MUCH MONEY. has to be under 250-300 or i cant do it

i don't really like PE's that much, get some scratch fs and some rossi bindings

amazing ski with a solid 2 year warranty, cant be beat

yeah dude the scratch bc's look ill, but they're outta my price range :/

i'm only 150 lb can the scratch f.s.'s stay afloat in pretty deep pow? I mean they have an 84 cm base underfoot which is 6 cm bigger than my recons

the fs won't float but theyll work, bc's are amazing in pow, look around on here for some used or get the bc sprayer if you don't mind the quality difference

Will do, but my skis now aren't too bad in the powder and they're apache recon's, so I think I'm just gonna buy the scratch fs for park and groomers. Thanks for all the help :). is 229 for 06 scratch fs' a good deal tho?

pretty much no such thing as a cheap ski thats good in pow...theres cheap skis that are managable in pow thou

You could try and get some volkl karmas from last year or teh year before. they ar a great all mountain ski and solid in park too.
