Twin Tips For Intro to Park

I've been wanting to start getting into the park and need a solid pair of skis for jumps and maybe a few rails. Anyone recommend something for starting off or what specs I should be buying? Thanks.

Thanks and they look nice too. But just to get a overall picture, for someone 6-2, what size would you think? Is there a general height rule for park skis?

But is that really a 'beginner' ski? Not necessarily.

In regards to OP, you're going to have to spend a little outside of three-hundred dollars. But to come as close to that mark, I'd recommend Line Masterminds, which are 349.95$ on their site, or K2 Presses, which are about the same I believe. Both of these skis are fairly low-key, light, and will go all over the mountain as well as the park. They have a lower swing weight, and will be middle of the road as far as flex go.

But if you have a local shop near you, head there and ask about deals as far as skis/bindings go, because they may have inventory from last year around that you can get for cheap, and they'll be able to help a bit more.

Thanks, I'll probably head out to a shop soon to check that out, just wanted an idea of what I should get. I'm new to the buying, as a renter past couple years and want to get into it. What;s the difference between rocker, etc.? Been noticing that as I've been looking

agreed. Masterminds if you want to shred all mountain and park, and afterbangs if you do all park, but still ok in the groomers.

or try these. a little over budget but nice all round twin tips

Most go for something around their own height or a bit shorter. For you I'd say 178-185 would be good. I'm the same height as you, I have 183 cm skis and I really like the length.

I'd agree with this post and recommend the k2 presses. My buddy who just started skiing park picked these up last year and are a great option. They are cheap yet durable and as mentioned above lighter, medium flex and good all mountain. Definitely should be at the top of your list.
