In the Windells Session 6 video he's riding Amplids again. Whats goin on?

sorry if this is a repost, Ive been gone for a week.
 
he is still on amplid and has been for a while. He is changing to scott this year i believe. but it is still summer so riding amplid
 
Yea I am pretty sure he never left amplid. Everyone was just going nuts when they saw him with scott skis
 
because amplid is still going to try and squeeze every last penny out of being able to claim Tom as an amplid rider... Until the last possible moment, amplid will claim him as theirs.
 
The only one who knows what they are talking about is paul, if you don't know what you're talking about then don't post something.
 
contract up with amplid in october and then going with scott i believe. He was riding scott earlier in the summer just to make sure that they were a solid ski.
 
Jep, Wallisch def leaves Amplid, thats the reason why the interview on their site is the old one from last year, whereas Steve Stepp got a new one for next season and he stays with amplid
 
HAHAHA...so true to so much of here though.

Apparently he got 50k a year sponsorship from Scott that starts when his Amplid ends. And Amplid put him up because they want as much advertisement as possible, I bet they will leave him up through this next season haha. He is on 2010 Amplids because Amplid gave them to him a long time ago(as every brand dose for their sponsored skiers, gives them the next years stuff part way through the current season) so that he will advertise them. Amplid makes good skis, Scott makes good skis but has a lot less Hype on here, so I think this will encourage more people to at least try Scotts, which if they like them the way I guess they will the word will get out here. BOTH BRANDS ARE GREAT.

dont take that personnally man, but who woukd logically think burton was going to make skis next year, think about it haha
 
Burton dropped a bunch of riders so that they could sign Tom and Henrik, but the deal fell through so they signed Eric Koston instead
 
i hope tomas wallnuts keeps reppin spy otherwise they would lose like all of there publicity and spy makes awesome goggles.
 
Welp its gets even more confusing, cause Koston dropped Lakai for Nike, and will this mean he will be skiing or snowboarding, both? And does this leave Kelly Slater and Quicksilver in limbo? The triangles just don't match up with purple
 
Ooooohhh I do I do. Because I'm one of those creative types who stays away from the curve. There's no way I'll be caught on the same skis as the pretzel man. I just bought some amplids now that I heard he's off, but now that he's back on I think I'll need to get rid of them. Trade?
