Turf control

Alrite so I picked up a quite a bit of turf for $10 that came off someones verander. Some of its worn and some of its a bit newer.
Seeing as I've never skied anything accept snow, how much control do you have on turf? I have a piece 2m x 1m which is newish so I'm not sure whether to put it on the kicker for extra control or just chuck it anywhere and have changing gripyness (word?) along the ramp.
Or am I over thinking this and I should hurry up and shred?

Turf took a bit of time to get used to for me but after like 5 or 6 runs it was perfect. You definitely want turf on your lip. And what the fuck are you planning on using where there is no turf, just wood?

Haha sorry if I wasn't clear, I have plenty of turf to cover my setup twice over! The issue is i have some newish pieces which have more grip and worn pieces which are less grippy. I dunno if its gonna make any difference I think I'm overthinking this...

i would definitely put the newer pieces closer to the lip. i don't think it'll make much difference and you won't have to be maneuvering a whole lot, but that will be the place you'll want it most.

Yeah the extra grip will help on the lip but it's not neccesary, you don't really have to but if it's not too much of a hassle you might as well, use the old turf for your landing.

So here it is!
