Storm rollin from tonight thru monday. Tuesday looks like its going to be sunny and bluebird and SICKK.

im super stoked for a sick pow day, how bout the rest of yous?
 
Driving back to san francisco through all the rain was nice knowing theres snow. but knowing that I am going to be at school when you are skiing pow sucks.
Hopefully we get a lot though. My friend and I want to try and hit the train gap this season sometime (not exactly sure where). anyone here ever hit it? or know of any cool road gaps etc? Nothing to extreme. haha.
 
even better if the storm rolls through until friday!(with the exception that tuesday is a cool say)

Well, anyone who wants to ditch and shred pow tuesday, theres 2 spots open in my car. gonna be ridin up the 80/50 corridor depending on the destination.. PM me suckas.
 
looks like there was 13inches last night. who skied today? how was it.\

and it sucks I think I am going to have to intern during the dew tour. I have been looking forward to that for awhile.
 
EPIC. Best day yet this year. WAY over 13" at sugar bowl too more like 2'. Lake run tomorrow.
 
Squaw didnt open the upper mtn today so tomorrow will be crazy... if we're lucky silverado will open!!!

Alpine was tits deep this morning! 24 inches in 10 hours
 
They didn't open Granite or the backside of broken arrow, but Tower 16 was open, and unfortunately to say but silverado is very doubtful.Oh yeah and obviously the palisades and the pocket didn't open.
 
From what I hear tuesday wan't be as good as today. But it's supposed to smpw tuesday night so wednesday should be decent. Even today it wasn't bottemless though. There's mad ice under the pow. I've been getting this Tahoe Weather Geek newsletter lately and it seems to be right on the money. Can't wait 'till wednesday.
 
I was at homewood today because I heard it was tracked out at alpine and squaw.

It was fresh tracks all day long.

People were actually complaining that it was TOO DEEP... I kinda laughed at that one.
 
Tuesday was KILLER. We did 3 back country runs, all basically bottomless. Next week is going to be insane. I dont ever want to ski another park now, just pow.
 
If anyone is looking for a backcountry partner, or woudn't mind another guy joining your group, I'll buy you guys some beer. haha.

I live in San Francisco, but my parents have a place in Incline.18 years old, been skiing my whole life.took an avi 1 course at alpine skills international last year.have all the equipment.am on a Randonne set up.

tomorrow is and tuesday is going to be siiiiiickk!!!! .... the avalanche danger has been crazy right now though... breaking at 3 -6 feet from that rain layer... everyone be careful!!
