if there's much pow pow... you probably shouldn't go up... there are so many avalanches in there... that's why no one really skis it until arpil-may.

it must have lost a lot of snow last night. as soon as we got down it started pooring for hours up there. the rivers where absolutley roaring from all the melted snow. it was a little foggy but it kicked fuckin ass

people don't ski it until april-may b/c there are like 30 people on the east coast who own transcievers and out of those, maybe 10 know how to use them correctly. that and it takes a lot of snow blowing from the top of the snow fields on mt washington to fill in a lot of the cliffs and drops. if you head up in mid to late december some time you'll see what i mean...half the people ice climb it between then and early march.

well i was up there on the 15 and it was really sick we summited and the snowfields were all ice but the bowl was all avy run out with soft as shit snow around it, im going this satuday the 5th if anyone else is gonna be there

yeah, there was a law passed on the white mountain range stating that despite that park rangers could tell you not to do something, it qualified only as a recommendation and not as a mandate so you can do whatever the hell you want...except rescue prices are ridiculous.

yeah i was up there on sat. the 19th. first time, it fricken ruled! i skied 'the chute' then straightlined across the snowfield. there was also a small jump at the bottom and i was doin 3 safty and tails. well the snow was loose warm stuff. not really powder.

'You're gonna die clown, I alone am best!!!', my friend at 12:30 at night, hyped up on caffine, after convincing himself he was the worlds deadliest sniper.

go now people say to do it late but the earlier the better just dont be a fucking dumb ass and ski back into ur sluff cause thats when ull get fucked ive been up in feb. with waist deep pow and it slide, just ride away from it as fast as u can
