oh man, tucks is the shit. I went on the most epic trip there 2 years ago. we went in april and it was perfect because there was plenty of snow covering everything but it was warm out, blue skies and the trail to the bottom was open 95% of the way down. this is key, as hiking down after hiking up and skiing all day would suck balls. We stayed in the shelters at the base tucks the night before, and it was so worth it because once we woke up it was just another 20 minute hike and we were there. I think we got in 4 solid runs, left gully was definitely the coolest. Tucks is steeper than anything you have ever skied or seen, and the first turn is the hardest.
