Tryna link-up with Wolves that were reintroduced to Colorado

they were released 10 miles southwest of kremmling, right past the radium hotsprings of the colorado river.

your best bet is to take an inflatable kayak thru the gore canyon, its only class V, so even an inner tube will do...

im sure they stay within range of the river.

apparently the ghost town of radium was the perfect spot, and they wont come to kremmling. hand written notes were placed everywhere around town,

as a joke, i started telling my dog about the wolves being out there . shes a golden retriever, and f%$ing understood the word wolves.. one night i go out there, and sure enough theres a 150 pound wolf playing with her, so naturally i fed her, rubbed her belly, and we all howled at the full moon!

i really dont know what to say about the reintroduction as a transplant, other than the fact they are endangered here in rado, and I saw one in grand county, once.

i also, have only see one bear , ever, in rado.

big moose, bald eagles, coyotes, jackalopes, mountain lions, they are all out there naturally.

i saw mountain lion tracks during trail checks this week and it kinda got me fired up, but also not a good vibe for guided night snowshoeing if that makes sense

i hear ya dude. i imagine it will help to bring a lot of meat with you to attract them and use as a peace offering, maybe beef jerky or a bag of hamburgers

also GayWolf420 is a great username

I had never even heard of this until this thread. I listened to a podcast about wolves introduced down near Pueblo a few years ago but no idea about this

If a wolf was actually happy go lucky... (thats what gay used to mean)

would the others view him as a weak link,

and attack?

we're all just dogs trying to eat sticks at the end of the day

These two species are interfertile, meaning that they can interbreed and produce viable offspring. In other words, wolves can breed with dogs, and their offspring can produce offspring themselves.

[tag=129716]@GayWolf420[/tag] they released a website tracking the wolves, as much as i have been worried, and my dog has kinda been acting sketh at night... Im thinking golden retriever wolf puppies would be worth alot of money...
