Trying to fix my cork for the winter...

personally i think that tramp and snow are soo different its hard to even compare the two.. i mean your body gets used to the motion of "being in the air" while jumping on a tramp but in terms of setting the trick off of a lip while moving (like on skis) is completely different from doing it on a tramp.. but then again i can do more on snow then i can on tramp so maybe its just me
 
It's really not that different hough. if you know how to cork on skis, corking on a tramp should be easyyy.

My advice is to learning is to set a 7 pretty hard and try and set it pretty upright. Slowly just start dipping your shoulder into your spin after the first 270 or so and try and get your legs out in front of your body/head
 
Instead of tucking your head down, open up your shoulders and look over your shoulders. Try this with a 360 or a 540, and land on your back.
 
I can cork no problem on skis but have an extremely hard time on a tramp. When you are coming off of a jump on skis you are already in that leaned back position necessary for a cork.
 
try looking over your shoulder like you are going switch ( while you are continuosly jumping) and set it like you are going to do a switch misty, 'cause the rotations are pretty much the same. then start doing them like that without looking over like you are going switch. thats how i learned them on the tramp, sorry if it does not make sense.
 
a switch misty and a cork are not like eachother at all from what I see.

Just focus on getting your feet out in front of you. A cork on the tramp is simple compared to a nice floaty cork off a booter
 
do the same as you usually do, but way slower! i dip allmost upsidedown when im at 360 in a cork7 and 9!

when u nailing it on time, you got it! just practice practice practice!

I'm just learning corks on the tramp but I'll tell you what I do to get them. (Also try the dropping your shoulder tip 1st, the only reason I am doing it this way is because that didn't work for me) First you should learn the back drop. For this the idea is to land flat on your back with your legs up and in a sitting position. (try and imagine that in your head) It will help later if you keep your arms crossed over your chest. To get like this you want to jump (low at 1st but get higher when you feel confident) then you should raise you up, this motion should make you lean back. Then just fall back flat to the trampoline bed.

The next step is to work on your spins, just straight up 1's 3's, and 5's. After you get comfortable with those work your way to 7's. Practice is key, I had a lot of trouble spinning on the trampoline.

The final step is to combine the back drop and spin. The problem I had with learning corks was that I would through my body back, almost of the tramp on not get the spin part. I thought that it would be a good idea to combine the movement of bringing your shins up for a seat drop and spinning at the same time. It worked well for me, the only problem is that you either land on your back or chest, I'm still working on getting back to my feet but its a start. Also start with smaller spins then work your way up.

***Sparknotes*** Lift your shins before you go to spin, that will get you vertical, then just spin (You will land on your chest or back depending on the rotation.
