Trying to decide on new skis.

I’m 6”3 215, I ski about 50% park and 50% all mountain with the occasional powder day. I’m trying to get a ski for everything. I looked into On3p and have been considering the Crushin Cans. The reason I’m worried about buying them is that they have a the park detune which people say makes them hard to use on icey conditions. Does this detune really make that much of a difference? If so should I wait for the Jeffrey 102s to restock or get some J skis All Play’s?

If your half and half park and all mountain id go for the Jefferys, surface upper, or fauna omni(coming out next year tho)

Check out the Reckoner 102 my go to for 50/50 but I like to butter and goof off on the whole mountain.

Are the uppers long lasting?

Yes. I absolutely beat the shit out of mine in the shallow powder in the southeast for a few weeks and made it out with a few scratches. No cracking in the edge or core shots

They’re super fun skis but not very durable in the park so I wouldn’t recommend if you plan on doing a lot of rails.

Mine are 40+ hard days in the park and still fine. Don’t say what happened to one ski will happen to all. It’s all just whatever gets thrown at the ski.

It’s happened to quite a few people. That’s why I’m saying if they’re gonna do rails much they’re not the best option. You’re lucky to get so much out of them.
