I'm an incoming freshman this year and I just moved into my dorm, who else is up here? Not sure where to get a season pass yet, thinking about Stowe and Sugarbush/MRG mostly. Is the freestyle club worth joining even if I don't compete?

If you have the money for both passes then go for it. I wasn't ever in that position. After my freshman year at Stowe I switched to Sugarbush and never looked back. That is the best place to be as long as you get involved with the community. That just means saying hi and making friends there. As for FST, I never did it. I figure if you think you'll have no way of getting to the mtn its a good option if they still have the van going midweek. otherwise you don't need to join.

It really is, and you'll expand your friend group beyond UVM because all the champlain kids go to sugarbush. By the time I graduated I had more champlain friends than UVM ones. Prolly because I'm a loser, but whatever.
