True Norwegian Black Metal

imo, and stictly in my opinion, its hard to see how this can be seen as music, but i guess everyone has there thing
 
i'd rather listen to straight up noise like yellow swans or xinlisupreme than that stuff...
 
its the shit man, kind of a culture thing though, upper middle class christian preps dont listen to it, its like blues id for black people, but for downtrodden satanist/pagan kids,
sorta with a "punk" kinda attitude, like instead of fuck you government its like fuck you god, hail satan
 
I could have read your comment totally wrong but personally i dislike your comment on labeling culture with a certain kind of music. Sure culture has a huge impact on the type of music we like, but in our day and age, anyone with an internet can listen to any type of music they wish to. That being said, i like all kinds of music, but for me its just got to have either some flow, a good beat or some good lyrics. All of which i don't find listening to this type of music. Sorry if i misread you post, and remember this is strictly in my opinion.
 
i agree 100%, but its just a bit of generalization that the average kid with a perfect life doesnt liten to black metal.
hip-hop is pree much culturaly an ethnic/low income music form, although in this day and agerich white kids can listen to it too, its just not "theirs"
 
Yep, for sure, i understand and i am with you there, it take a certain persona to prefer certain music. Or is it the music that changes the persona, hmmm? Very true though, hip-hop is so cultural but its spreading its wings a lot more and can be seen as changing the music industry as all ages and elasticities are liking everything.
 
yeah, i think its good the way kids are listening to a lot of differrent stuff, i myself dont like alot of stuff (music nazi i am) but its cool when kids branch out and rock diverse stuff.
 
If u went to school 15 miles from your house with one other kid for ure entire life you'd b pretty fuckd too :P

Listening to the interviews of these guys is like watching an episode of Metalocolypse. they try to be serious but I cant stop laughing
 
that is pretty interesting if you think about it, b/c its not realy that everyday you get to hear about someone accualy doing that and the reasons behind it. But what i find interesting about these guys, that everyone considers to be"different" or "messed", is that almost all of them can be realy smart, not like book smart but he type if smart that if asked a random question that is non-insulting, they could give you a strait, good, honest answer that can make sence to almost everyone. But they can have their wierd, messed up moments
