Trouble with police

i'm not expecting to get any serious responses in nsg but i figured its worth a try. here we go.

a few weeks ago a girl at my highschool decided to have an open house party and needless to say, shit got fucked up. I was only at this party for one hour but i saw around 50 holes in various walls.

fast forward to a few days ago and apparently the cops have been interviewing this girl's friends who were at the party to see who was causing the destruction. Even though i did nothing, this bitch's friends are all blaming me among countless other kids for the damage. The main reasoning behind this is the fact that my friend used to date the one girl and now she hates him and all of his friends.

Now i have to talk to my school resource officer in a few days and somehow explain that i wasn't involved with any of this shit even though all these bitches are dropping my name just to try and get me in trouble. I don't know if charges are being pressed or if they're just trying to get kids to pay for damage, but either way, I don't wanna be held responsible.

What the fuck am I supposed to tell this guy to make him believe I'm not one of the kids they're looking for? With shit like this its basically guilty until proven innocent and the fact that bitches keep dropping my name is not helping the situation.

Any serious responses will be appreciated. I just don't wanna get fucked for something I didn't do.

Say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Schools are not courts of law and thus you are under no obligation to tell them anything. "I will not respond to any accusations without a parent present"

Idk explain the boyfriend thing? Tell them it was the girl and she was obscenely smashed with her friends? Who the fuck does that at a party anyone?
 
imo the "guilty until proven innocent" is fucking stupid, I'm glad it's not like this over here. you should just talk to her parents to solve that problem instead of talking with your school or even that stupid bitch
 
You won't get in trouble. You did nothing wrong, there is no evidence, and you have grounds to attack the witness' credibility. Just don't say anything stupid.
 
Because all the "witnesses" are friends you can say they are potentially bias, and with the information you have (the whole friends breaking up not liking each other....) you can get people to back you up on that. Also get your own (real of course, otherwise you could get fucked) witnesses to back you up.

with witnesses on your side, and people to back up the whole bias thing, they will need more evidence that you did it.
 
best advice in this thread. they can't make you say anything so don't. chances are you will say something wrong and back yourself into a corner
 
do this exactly, believe me ive been down the same road. Anything you say they turn against you. They are now looking for a fall person, not someone who did it.
 
If they are trying to hold you accountable for damages, tell them it wasn't you. And unless they have solid proof you wont get in shit.

 
or you could just tell the truth...something like

"i went to the party like everyone else, and left when everyone else did. I didnt see who caused all the damage. It sucks that this happened, but I didnt do any of it. Thats all i know"
 
Does your mom know you were at that party? Is their evidence that you were there? pics? Status update? Anything? If there's no proof you were present there's no evidence that you did any damage.

Furthermore, if you did not punch the holes other than being present there's no evidence in any way that you punched holes in anything.

You just need to convince your mother that the best action is to say nothing. The school has assumed (based on what we are led to believe is false evidence) that you performed physical damage to someone's property which could lead to actual criminal charges. Once again, SAY NOTHING.

"I refuse to incriminate anyone including myself in this matter. I will not be answering any of your questions regarding this manner"

Unless you are subpenaed as a witness, you have NO obligation to say anything. I hate this bullshit where schools get involved in these private manners. It really is none of their business and there is substantial case law to back it up.
 
Why is the your school getting involved in this , its not like the school hosted the party and what would the school do about people from foyer schools at the party
 
I learned the hard way, but people aren't joking when they tell you to just DENY DENY DENY DENY DENY DENY, say no to everything until you can't anymore. Most pricks just try to play mind games to get you to confess guilt when really there is nothing to be guilty about. Worked on me once, and I felt like a bitch after. Don't listen to all their bullshit. Don't even give half truths either, they'll take that as an admission.
 
to make you pay for damges in court they need to prove with out a doubt that you did it. is there video prob not were the girls sober prob not just keep saying no. with out prof a drunk i witness will do nothing.
 
to be real, explain the whole situation with the girl and your friend to the officer. I mean for real, you won't get in trouble for shit without legit proof and if they try to, get a lawyer. I'm guessing you're under 18 and any charges would be dropped, but dealing with some thundercunt and her fucked up house sounds shitty. A lawyer would instantly tell the popo to fuck off because they have no proof and then if they still tried to charge you could sue the girl if you really wanted to get back at her.

Being honest and explaining the situation first, without getting pissed and without being rude to your resource officer is good first step. He may believe you, which he should realize being a highschool officer how some young girl is just lying because shes butthurt. If he does believe you, he might just back off and drop shit and let the girl/parents deal with it, which would then involve the law which then they'd still have no proof so you'd be fine.

Either way, shit sucks. Of course the cops believe the stupid girl who had the part because she's so innocent. I hate that bullshit, just because shes stupid and is a girl, she gets to blame someone else.
 
Also, like everyone else said, keep it very minimal. explain the whole ordeal with the cunt and your friend, but when it comes to the party you don't have to say anything. The only thing you should be trying to explain to any authority is how this girl is a cunt and shes trying to blame you and your friends because she doesnt like you. Simply deny anything having to do with the damage and like everyone else said, without proof they can't do shit.
 
thanks for the responses guys. like many of you said, i will explain the story and how none of the witnesses are credible sources. the only thing im worried about at this point is that he will whip out a bill and say i can either pay it or go to court. im obviously not paying a bill for the damages but if i have to get a lawyer for this bullshit it will still cost a considerable amount of money which i would not be very happy about.

Based on what you have told us: there is not enough evidence to justify criminal charges.

The worst they could do is take you to small claims court (plaintiff has to front the cost of the trial ~$200). And they don't generally have lawyers. There would be no evidence, the judge would throw the case out. Done deal.
 
Why don't they just fucking tell them who really did it? If you're the piece of shit that punches 50 holes in walls, you are a punk motherfucker and deserve to pay for that. Fuck 'em.
 
It wasn't him. Some random guys who were like 23 showed up and brought heroin and shit. They also threw a drum chair through a wall. It's a mess. But it wasn't OP
 
So, you're a witness. Why you don't just tell the cops how it was really? BTW pics of the girl are necessary, especially naked if hot.
