Trouble spinning both ways.

What's up NS. Working on spins ive got my left side down but anytime I want to throw over a 180 to the right I just panic in the air and get locked up at 270, somewhat the same for my blind 2s left foot forward cant get them to save my life. I pedal hard but cant get it, I know you all will say look with my head turn more yadada. Well I'm trying that and it still is elusive for me. Past hip injury makes it harder for me to comfortably look over right shoulder riding switch so idk if that has any effect on my spins as well. If you got any ideas or personal experience on how to correct this do comment! Speaking of who's loving this NW snow?

Youre probably not setting the spin with your body/hips. You're probably just looking in that direction but not actually spinning with your body

How well can you spin to the right? Also for unnatural BS 270s, I don't think about pedaling. Just pop off and look behind you. Also look back at the beginning of the rail while you are on it (for shorter rails) and spin. If you think about pedaling, you will end up with you feet way ahead of your body.

I feel like I'm just pushing it with my toe and then when I do look I get to 200' max. Right spins are my troubles, unnatty blind 2s aren't that hard for me to get they just come natural.

Set and pop with your shoulders and core, then look with your head. You're probably looking too much with your head making it difficult to rotate your body.

its all about commitment i recently learned unnatural switch 1 and unnatural switch lip and its turning with your head and body. yes your body goes where your head goes but if your not commiting with your body to you can stop your rotation

Try practicing your spins BOTH ways on a tramp and get comfortable before hitting a jump

no access to a tramp but can spin both ways on a tramp no problem funny though is I can hand drag to the right side

For blind 2s atleast. Open and swing that right shoulder over to the landing. It leads your hips and head and is a big key to blind 270s.

That actually may help me nail them! Debating on going up in the crap weather today

Year later and I've got all 4 2s out. 1 sloppy blind 4 and some front 4s. Also learned both way 3s, switch 3, left 5 and working on right 5 and left 7 I landed once very sketchy. Funny thing is I can kfed , ray Charles etc on boxes. But still get locked up on rails when trying my swaps. Decent progress for a year though.
