Trouble makers?

iv been thinking of getting them for next season. i was just wondering who hear skis them and what they think about the skis? i dont wanna hear about how lines are better or anything b/c i can get them with bindings for 450$ canadian.

they dont hold up on rails at all...i have blow out the edges and my top sheets are peeling back! BUT besides that they're the best all mtn ski ive been on, they can hold a carve, have good pop when hitting kickers, and i love them in the pipe!

for 450 CAD with bindings, get them, thats a good deal. Just don't 60 foot to disaster on them or slide rust rails and you'll eb fine. Take care of them on rails and they will be the best twin you've ridden.

Like a virgin on prom night

You can go on the bottom bunk and finish it yourself

When you guys are on those rails, it's like muah

You A-hole

They are great. Tons of pop (and the pop doesn't go away either.) A little on the skinny side, but I like that. Get them.

they hold up on rails fine

Mine didnt hold up, I got mine replaced under warranty and I know a couple of buddies completely killed the edges from rails!

So Seductive!

does anyone know if the construction is changing for next year?

maybe thats cause you guys have the normal troublemakers. I got a pair of "softops" 05's from a dynastar rep for $250 and theyre really solid. The soft-top sheet also seems to be scatch proof. they look the same cept the colors are a little darker and the topsheet isnt glossy

I demoed them for the first time this weekend. I'm practically sold! I'm just looking for a good price. I rode a pair of 175 demo skis. I guess they have been ridden a few times this season and they still looked pretty good. I loved how much flex they had and how stable they were on big landings. Didn't try any rails or boxes but they were really light so i'd bet they were prett easy to control over kinks and s rails.

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest pair?

Success often walks side by side with sacrafice.

i'm pretty sure you could find plenty of pairs in the garbage, they'll have no edges but that's what new ones would be like in a couple weeks

Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

What goes on in the gondala stays in the gondala

Are troublemakers any good for backcountry. I live in the east and dont ski much pow. BUt im skiing Mt Washington soon and need a ski that's good off piste.

yeah I think there the best all mtn twin! I took them out and was riding them at kicking horse, and they were awesome! But everyone has different opinions so try and demo a pair.

So Seductive!

The troublemaker will be a great east coast bc ski. Especially with the weather we have been having. They are vertical sidewall construction so they will hold well in the morning before it warms up (vertical sidewall hold better on ice), enough width underfoot to push around the late afternoon slush and are decently stiff so you won't get tossed around any time of day.

Another alternative would be the Public Enemy in a 179cm. The PE has a little more sidecut, so little better hold in firm conditions.

my friend has the 03 tm's and after a day on rails and boxes the edges were completly rounded and the topsheet looked like someone had been skiing on it for years. but he loves the way they ski. i ski the chronics and they are really soft compaired to them but it depends what you like. i've heard great for skiing, but not durable at all.

my friend has gone through 2 pairs of trouble makers in 4 weeks ( edge cracks, pulled edges, Complete shattered sidewall under foot) but he says they are super fun butter skis. but they need some edge work

i had them this season...keyword HAD, they ski awesome and i absolutely love them, but they are not durable at all.....my edges were cracked/rounded/ripping out and the heelpiece of my bndg pulled out of the core, which was cracked...i love how snappy they are, and are awesome on rails since there only 78mm waist.....if you can find em cheap get em, but dont expect them to last over a season

My people all up in the house and we calling you out

we got niggas crying, what you bawling about??

they suck on rails, i demoed them for one day at northstar after i broke their predecessor (the concept) and broke the edges, they did ski fine but dynastar has shitty edges

i heard that the 2004 tms didnt hold up on rails too well and delaminate easily but the 2005s r alot better but more expensive
