They are blowing snow right now and through the night. Slight chance on opening tomorrow. I will keep you all posted on what is going to happen. STOKED!

They did not make enough snow last night to open today, I really did not think they would. I would not be surprised if they open tomorrow though. Keep checking back here if you are planning on coming up this weekend

Yes they are cheaper! and Yeah Nick has like 5 pass things at his house. It would be sweet to get a bunch of kids out on Saturday if we are open

Skiing is HERE!!! no saturday for me unfortunately but thursday or friday night for sure.. not sure if i should come to troll or wild though

I drive through Taylor Falls and Rhinelander on the way to my cabin and i'd asy its probly 3 or 4 hours.

i see, ya im staying at my friends cabin which is pelican lake and we dotn want to drive toi far this weekend but we were thinking inidan head or granite but it seems like neither will be open

Nick had all the passes and he lost his wallet with them in it.. So I can try to get 1 guy in but depends on who is working.

You should Tinga! We gotta get a ton of people out opening weekend! I am not to sure on ticket prices as of right now, but I want to say it will be around $20 give or take a little. Almost positive that they will make snow tonight, looking at the webcam right now and it looks like they are getting the snow guns ready to blow snow! I can call tomorrow and find out hours and ticket prices for preseason.

I can guarantee you welch wont be unless we get a miraculous huge blizzard or something. Peter said they will only just start to make a little snow by this weekend. Opening day most likely to be December 4th or 5th

so its probably just as far of a drive from the cities as wild huh? they usually have stuff set up opening? what's the run like compared to wild?

Depends what part of the cities your coming from... but from Stillwater Trollhaugen is about 15 minutes closer than Wild is. Yeah, there will be up to 4 maybe 5 if were lucky different things set up, the main run is longer than Wilds run that is open and the bunny hill is longer that will be open with a Rope.

yup. probably better anyways cuz the last couple years we haven't really even had anything to jib at welch on opening day anyways

Was just at Trollhaugen with Nick and they are making snow on nearly every run. Chances of being open are high I would say. But if they are not I will not be surprised

Sick! So the question is shall i ride at troll or at wild tomorrow.. post up what the setups were and how it was when you get back tonight!

Our park and rope are open.. have been since Saturday, Our set up is: two jumps, shotgun/box rail thing, 30 foot handrail, 15 foot handrail, c-rail, flat box, down flat down rail, and elbow rail. Havent had the chance to ride it cause I just got back from CO. Going out tomorrow.

Its mellow and like 3 feet high in the middle and almost 40 feet long. and its the same style as our 20 foot flat bar with the two round pipes on the outside of the flat bar part. its super sick!

that sounds reeaalll dope. will it be up by this weekend? i might come on saturday cuz it doesn't look i'm going to duluth.

yeah it is way sick looking, it should be up this weekend if Jamie can finish it this week. im sure it will be though. and Kelly since your tripod came i think we should make a Troll edit?

dude i'm in. i'll try to get an afton crew together and we'll come shred. i'll let you know later in the week for sure though cuz i may still end up goin to duluth.

Trolls new park on Valhalla: Far left line: Drop in, Jump, and a 25 foot jump that is real nice for Troll.

Middle Line: new battleship rail(way fun!) Down flat down rail, step up.

Right Line: Flat box, 20 foot shotgun downbar, little jump, 50 foot flat bar.

Summit park(double tow)- not much in it right now, resetting it with all the good features on thursday night hopfully depending on forecast.
