Anyone going to this weekend or anyone gone to it in the past? Wondering what its like and how crowded and worth it it is

Wouldn't recommend it man. I was there last year and stood around for 6 hours only to get 8 hits... I also paid like $25. It felt like a tease

Spirit is like 2 1/2 hours tho :/

Troll is 1.5 hours from the west metro so it's really not that much extra. From what I hear it's an open session that's not a comp. You actually get to ride the whole time. Troll's you get practice time with a few hits, then if you don't lay something big down during the jam you can kiss the $20 you just spent goodbye. The extra gas money you'd spend going to spirit will be well paid off since spirit's is $5. If I drove from Minneapolis for hesher sesh, you can do this. I believe in you.

Open session meaning more hits?

Yeah. Literally. Drew could probably say more because he was actually there but it sounds like it was just a long hike session.

kill the photographer, come to the rail jam, i can take pics of your family when I'm back for halloween.

Thanks to anybody that came out. It was good time!

I just want to make one thing clear for anybody thinking about coming in the future. The money you guys pay, is a direct donation to the trollhaugen Park crew, so w e can continue to build new features. We are not like any other resort, where they receive a budget from the resort.

Its not the money that stops me from going. its the many years of being poorly treated at that jam.

register 9am

wait around till 4.

skiers start - half way through girls snowboarding joins the heat....

Couldn't agree with this more. Well put Steve!

And yeah spirits jam last year was just a constant hike where you could get a fair amount of hits in. That being said it gets pretty packed but it's still 10 times better than trolls last year

PSA: a special training session will be taking place the weekend before the rail jam at Camp18061806.
