Tripod Recommendations

Hi all,

I'm picking up a new tripod, but I'm torn on what to get. Currently I'm considering an Induro CLT 303 or 303L. Or maybe just saving $200 and getting CLT 004.

Any experience with Induro or maybe you have something else you like better? I'd love to hear your recs. Those 303s are about my max budget ($350-400)

I want a steady and secure platform. I'd consider a lighter weight travel option, but only if it's proven with heavy use.

Thanks!

Sachtler ACE if you can afford it, the manfrotto 701HD is decent too.

TBH your tripod should be the most expensive piece of gear you own outside of your camera body, I always recommend one saves up for a quality tripod, which usually costs $1000+

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't need a video tripod. I need something more photo specific with independent legs. But I agree that a tripod needs to be a top of the line item in any person's kit.
