I know people use this video all the time to hate on dubs/triples but every time I watch it, it blows me away how gnarly that is back in the 80's with no helmet and shit.

People are intimated by dubs and triples because they are scared of learning them and would rather see people doing tricks that they might be able to do. Let skiers, progress im stoked to see the first quad by a newschool skier.

I would way rather see small tricks over big jumps. A double cork 1260 high mute looks better than a triple 14 any day.

does anyone think the xgames jump will be big enough for triples this year? it seems like a lot fo the skiers wanted to try one but were turned off by the size of the jump. then the jon olsson jump is made and everybody does triples.

The problem is that I'm getting a 100 times more stoked watching that 1980s aerial vid then I do watching todays triples...

Freestyle skiing isn't borderline aerials anymore like we were 3 years ago, we're already there..
