some of the guys in the wednesday night slopestlye am were throwing down like 900's, off axis 7's flast spin/ liek rodeos, disastering the rail. Doig the urban, wave. and so on.... Am is heating up..

My friend even threw a back off the wave,, however ye to land it in comp but when he does its over

If you think the Amateur scene at the trip challenge is a lil much. Come to Devil's Glen and comp in an easier event .. mroe for fun and hucking with a bunch of people than anything ... PLus there should be a pair of skis for grand prize. Lotsa music and its on the same day as teh trip challenge (march 20th) so you can stil head into town for the after party. Let me know if you're down.

Why is last chance signup for Amateur Pipe on Friday morning when the qualies dont start until Sunday morning? I wouldnt mind signing up but I cant show up until Sat morning as I work during the week. If you guys can swing last min reg for ski amateur slopestyle and pipe for Saturday morning that would be swell.

Look guys, if you're a contender for teh cash .. by all means stay in the Badlands and huck it up!

But if you think you might not be at that level but still want a fun time with some goods for prizes, come on over.

I'm not saying come to DG instead .... but rather if you're not totally into the trip challenge, thats all.

hey jodi, is it gonna be possible to ski at all on saturday, in the park i mean... if your not a competitor. I mean watching awsome skiers is cool and all but damn I need to ski!

 
Ok - I will answer my own question based on the conversation I just had with Jodi :P

While the pipe comp is going on, the pipe will be closed but the other features will be open.

While slopestyle is happening, the skiers-right side of the park (the higher level stuff) will be close, but the pipe and smaller stuff will be open.

what, gel isn't entertaining? bringing the toronto club attitude to the country and letting ski bums in to mingle with all the rich yuppies - thats a recipe for entertainment if I've ever seen one. It's great comedy.

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone at blue especially Jodi for a kick ass event. Even though the slopestyle was a bit soggy, the big air went off. Great format, amazing atmosphere for everyone around. It was tons o' fun.

And Doug and the rest of the park crew built the biggest jump I've seen in a long time.

well done guys.

Hey Jodi,Ryan, Doug and all the other super cool people who were involved in gettin the Triple Challenge off the ground. You guys ROCK... thanks for a wicked weekend, even tho I was gimpy I was super stoked on the turnout and the events!!! All u guys were troopers, competors and organizers puttin up with everything from rain to freezing nasty weather!! Thanks for a wicked weekend and props to Elana for winnin womans slopestyle!!!!!!

first i want to congradulate jodi, doug and the rest of the park crew for a really fun event.
