Triple at Snoqualmie, WA

Jordan just cut your loses and accept that you were; A. As wrong as wrong can be and B. stop being a tool for the sake of being a tool, or just stick to mt baker and leave us to our peace.

Like someone said a little bit earlier, rory used to be a damn good racer, and now he is a damn good park skier...better edge control than you or billy will ever have combined (yes I've seen both of you ski). And his super solid background as a good skier period gave him a talent for learning new stuff with new grabs like I haven't seen in anyone else.

Also that cork 5 Abe posted was not on the jump he doubled...but you asked for a video of a solid cork five and you got one.

I love snoqualmie's park and all, but I ride there constantly and I'm always riding solo. Whereas I go to stevens maybe 10 times a year and know practically everyone. Just different dynamics for me I guess.

hahha. Wrong? Was there a triple? No. Was there a dub 12 like you claimed? No. It was a failed dub 10.

And again, to put it plainly, there are 150 better skiers out there who MURDER shit, and haven't sent dubs. Your guys' seasons pass at the SkyHigh trampoline facility is really starting to pay off, good work.

All I'm saying is, you guys are skipping over learning soooo many things just to look cool and make claims about dubs. No dub should ever be thrown on a jump of that size. Lastly, (literally the last thing I am going to say in this thread) Jamie, I hear you "want to go pro" eventually (better hurry... there are 11 year olds gunning for you) you guys should probably focus on learning everything properly. Both ways, switch skiing/hits, real grabs, etc. Hucking one direction isn't your ticket.

Sorry you guys got so butt hurt that someone didn't believe there were triples, or even legitimate dubs. PEACE!

You claimed the kid couldn't ski. People vouched for him with his racing skills and FIS points. You wanted to see a solid cork 5. You got it. You said the jump was 25 feet. Numerous people say it's bigger. The OP obviously made a mistake with the Triple claim. You are just coming off as stupid and immature now so yes go ahead and run away.

How can you possibly argue that he can't ski in the first place if you've been told that he's been racing for years prior to his park experience?

Also all of your arguments are incorrect inferences that you drew to further justify your original argument; Is a tweaked true nose cork 7 cool enough for you? And sorry people are trying to push themselves and make the best of what they have, which may only be a 50 foot table.

 
I could have people tell you that I have been training at Kung-Fu for years, doesn't mean I won't get my ass kicked in a fight, even if I was training that whole time.
 
I think we can both agree that his FIS rank was pretty impressive and there is a difference between being able to properly ski and winning a fight; why perpetuate this argument?
 
I have no idea who it is we are even talking about, all I know is that people are claiming a triple, and I'm not seeing a double, let alone a triple. Or a 50 ft jump.
 
Okay so knowing what you've been told in this thread, and not knowing who the actual kid is why would you criticize the way he skis? You did agree with jbird when he criticized said abilities, did you not?

its on the previous page. its a dub on what looks to be about a 30 foot jump. the j bird guy is just being a hating douche and not spreading stoke

As knowing that you and J.Bird are older members of the site who have contributed much time into building newschoolers. I am disappointed with the maturity level.

It amazes me that there are people on this site who cant see real beauty in skiing. whether you have 10,000 posts or you are a much older and experienced skier, you still may not have hit that level to fully understand what skiing is all about. Take a couple steps outside of the box, and look at skiing from an outsiders perspective. Freestyle skiing is just as much of our sport as telemarking, backcountry, racing, aerials, moguls, etc., and with that said, a rider should be able to look at some swift powdering turns and respect them just as much as a young kid trying new tricks. Because i can promise you he was just as happy attempting that dub 12 as you were practicing your edge control on the same day.

So if your idea of having fun and enhancing your aspect of skiing is to come onto newschoolers and hate on aspiring kids, please reevaluate yourself and come back when our spot means a little more. It is a shame seeing that our sport is turning into complete and utter bullshit, because of the amount of disrespect people on this site have...hate on

That jump/eniter park looks just beautiful to me, not sure why anyone would had on it. (This coming from a midwest skier)

Not sure either. It is a sick park people around here tend to use the excuse the flow isn't very good and is years past that was the case but this year the park has been very well made. I am impressed with the park crews dedication to quality right now.
 
Rory can ski. No question. Been killing it for years.
Haven't made it to Snoqualmie this year, but I only hear positive things about park. Props to the crew over there. Seems like whoever's running the show marketing wise has done a good job of crushing the past.
