Tricks to be sponsered

Well, for a shop sponsorship a good BJ now and then usually does the trick, but if you're thinking Oakley and Armada, your mom better be hot.
 
why is everyone so concerned with being sponsored? just ski for fun and things will fall in place if they are supposed to.
 
because you can get free equipment. and it's kinda fun to be sponsored even if you're only sponsored by a local ski shop.
 
yeah im going to be looking for a local sponser next season but its soo hard to get a video put together w/o a video camra.....is there any other way how i could get a sponser
 
i know someone that was goin to get sponsered, but unfortunatly he did't fot the reson that no-one know's who he is!! so if you want to make it a vidio or dvd is the best way to get a name and then a sponsor!!
 
^if you say that then you won't get sponsored. Shop sponsors, from what I've seen are like 35% skill, 65% image/confidence(what resorts you frequent, how many people know you, are you going to influence people to buy at that shop)

bottom line, you gotta be confident, not cocky and you gotta stand out in peoples eyes at the very least. You gotta be smooth and better than the next guy but charismatic as well
 
its not solely about what you can do. a lot of it is how you represent yourself and your attitude. you are a marketing tool for the companies that sponsor you. start by talking with your local shops and have them pass your vid onto a rep. if the rep likes what they see they will put you on flow from them. then you bust your ass and show them that you want to aspire to more and get put on the am team.
 
go to a rail jam or slopestyle and make friends...even if u dont win, as long as u do good and make friends im sure ull get some hook ups...but u should really not think about it too much and ski
 
Well, I got sponsored doing 180s, spreads, daffys and cossacks. If you do 7s, 9s and cork 5s, you should be in the X-Games and such.
 
you have to be able to do everything smoothly, almost everygrab with almost any spin. 180-900 or 1080 smoothly. and you have to be able to be a rockstar in bed
 
^ rockstar in bed def helps. Steeze like everyone has said is big, and just ride clean and smooth. dont be greedy at first, establish, then go fucking nuts on them gettin all your friends shit and stuff.

make sure you have your own steeze, mines called "SMOOTH STEEZE" its a feeling more than a projected style. everything is done with laughter and a good time
 
u HAVE to be able to sw cork 1440 with a high leading mute grab with ur index finger wrapped around the outside edge and ur thumb approximitaly 2/3 of an inch to the right of ur index finger
