My first app has finally made it to the App Store. Trickbook is a mobile app to track your progression on skis. You can check off, add and delete rail and jump tricks on your list. Never will you forget the tricks you want to try again! You can also find help, if you have trouble with the basics of freestyle skiing.

I really hope you will enjoy using Trickbook. I dedicated a lot of my time to this project, and I will put even more work into the second version, which will launch within a year or so. It will hopefully become the “Twitter of all extreme sports”. You will be able to follow your friends and favorite athletes, see where they are skiing and what they are doing.

I am sorry to launch mid-season, but the app was rejected thrice, which delayed the whole process. Have a nice winter everyone!

NOTE: The 'delete' function is not working yet, but an update will come very soon. Until then, please just use the app without adding new tricks!

I liked the idea, but now fuck this app. Plus you're making people pay? Fuck you op, hook your fellow skiers up

Allow me to elaborate on this statement, and at the same time answer the questions about pricing.

I have no coding skills, but I really wanted this app to become a reality. I contacted a developer and paid him to do the job. Developing the app for Android would require many extra hours of paid work, which is why I am not doing that any time soon.

To enjoy all features within the application, you need to pay $0.99. This is not because I want to make a lot of money off anyone, but because I actually invested a lot of money in the development of this app.

I hope everyone understands, that I would add many extra features, develop an Android version and market the s*** out of it If I could code myself. Unfortunately, I can't and I do not have the money right now to pay someone else to do it. :)
 
Thank you for your feedback. This feature was initially not something I wanted, but the app was rejected three times, so I had to play around with different features to make the Apple Review Team approve it. I will consider removing it in the next update :)
 
The idea is nice. But seriously! Trying to make us pay to check of tricks we can already know we can do. And making the "how to" only unlock able with sharing on Facebook. I saw that you said you may change that so that's good. But I really don't like having to pay to check off more tricks.
 
downloaded and paid the extra $1. i have tons of apple gift cards laying around so i might as well help a fellow nser out
 
down voted because the developer didn't have time to make a release for a totally different interface, wow NS is a bunch of fucking bitches
 
i looked at screen shots and this isn't close to being worth .99 cents, considering all you do is look at a check list of 20 tricks. Honestly this app could be made in 1 day
 
wow. you guys are assholes. i don't have a smartphone but for 99 cents i would totally support the cause. this kid went out of his way to make (or pay someone to make, whatever) something awesome, and "free". stemmed from his love of skiing, the thread that binds us all, and the only feedback he receives is a big fuck you. good job NS, real proud of you
 
OP, who is the developer that you contacted and how much did you pay? If you payed more than $10 than you have been completely ripped off by the simplest coding every
 
I am very sorry to everyone about the 'iOS 7 or later' requirement. I was not aware of it until today, but it does not seem like anything I can change. I am sorry!
 
Just got it and ill use it today. Wish there was a list of grabs to go with the spins though... Maybe something you could add as you go?
 
Via bluetooth it should know when you've done a trick and how many times.

otherwise, you could cheat!
 
That is true, but I would recommend not using that feature for the next few days. You can add tricks, but not delete them again. The delete function will be working on the next update, hopefully before monday.
