Trick advice? (i'm bored)

So it's october...it's raining, I live on the east coast and all I can think about is skiing. This summer I got really into rope swings/cliff jumping. Yeah I tried a bunch of flippy spinny stuff, but toward the end of the summer my favorite thing to do off the bridge/cliff we jump at is a smooth, slow front flip 180. I dunno if it qualifies as a misty or not. So then I was @ my buddies house yesterday messin around on his trampoline and I just kept doing these over and over. I'm super comfortable with the rotation, can spot the landing all the way through etc. My question is what would be the best way to bring this to the snow this season? I guess the best way to put it is: will the weight of my skis/boots throw me off? I've just been thinking about it for so long, I'm definitely going to try it this season on a decent pow day. So yeah...is winter here yet?

im sorry, but did u say u live on the east coast, and yet u expect there to be an even decent pow day??!!

just felt like clarifiying one more thing. it's not a straight forward flip w/ a 180 half way through. More like when I jump, I dip my right shoulder and flip over it while rotating the while way. Also looking for advice on how to do bigger spins with the flip. I cant seem to figure it out.

It feels a little bit differant with boots and skis on, but after going upside down a few times it will feel just like it does on a tramp. You just need to get used to it. It won't through you off, but you can feel them in the air, it's kinda wierd.

You are just going to have to sack up and do it. Warm up with front flips and then put in the 180 when you feel confident.

who said anything about pow? and yeah if you're super comfortable with it you're going to get it no matter what you just gotta push through it it might take like 2 tries but you'll get it for sure

if your gonna want to get any more spin into that cleanly your going to have to get better at the front 180. try setting the frontflip normally and then in the air add in the 180. once you get really good at these more spins come easily.

not quite. just giv'er would be more appropriate for this situation. although giv'er applies to most situations on the hill
