TRIANGLE (2009) on Instant Netflix

Didn't see any threads posted on this movie, and after watching it last night and discussing it with a co-worker, it's certainly a must-watch for any mystery fan. There's not much you can say without giving much away so I won't go there, but I will say that it's similar to Timecrimes, Primer, and Moon but with a different twist at the end that you probably would not have expected. I could compare it to a TV show, but that might reveal too much as well. Anyway, Triangle is sure to offer quite the mind-bending and cerebral movie experience that will leave you scratching your head and digging up as much info as you can on imdb.

is moon in instant watch?? i just added this movie as well

I thought it was pretty well done but I did not like the main actress.

SPOILER BELOW:

So what I got out of it was that she was like Sisyphus, she was a bad mother and to punish her she was forced to relive that over and over again. The cab driver was a god or a leader or something. I just dont understand why she had to kill everyone, also I dont understand why when she changed things everything happened the same? Also they never said anything about that Asian lady who got sucked out the window. I was pretty hung over when I watched it so maybe someone else can help me out.

Also does anyone know any other good instant watch movies?

Some movies to watch on instant:

Audition (very good torture porn)

Eraserhead (David Lynch's first film ... pretty fucked up)

Frontiers (horror ... French version of Texas Chainsaw but better)

Go (about the drug scene in late 90s)

Johnny Got His Gun (super twisted movie)

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

The Machinist

Man Bites Dog (French film that's basically shot like a "True Hollywood Story" of a serial killer)

Memento

Oldboy

Ichi the Killer

Tell No One (French film noir ... one of the best of 2007)

The Vanishing (1988 version, NOT the American remake ... slow but the payoff in the end is worth it)

Brick (really good neo-noir starring the kid from 500 Days of Summer)

Following (Christopher Nolan's 1st film)

Heat

Human Traffic

Sex Drive (raunchy teen comedy with the fat kid from Hot Tub ... LOTS of tits)

Very Bad Things (take "The Hangover" and make it a dark comedy)

i think that and also when she presses the music player twice in a row at the beginning that restarts it twice so thats why there is 3 of her.

SPOILER BELOW:

I took it that the whole movie was purgatory and the chick was being punished for being such a horrible mother. The taxi driver is the ferryman (Charon) that brings the dead across the River Styx. When he says "It's no use trying to save that boy", he's trying to get the chick to let go and stop trying to relieve her hell over and over. No matter what she tries to do, she will live it infinitely until she decides to give up.

this shouldnt be spoiling anything but when shes on the ship and looks in the miror for a little while, watch what the camera does, if you dont catch what Im talking about rewind it and keep looking its worth seeing. btw REALLY good movie

on that note, the whole filming element about this movie made it incredibly interesting to watch. i love the long, flowing shots and the brutual intesity of the gore scenes. Im not going to say anything bout the plot other than there were a few holes in it, but with a movie of this nature, thats expected. i think they should have ended the movie differently, on a note that left the viewer to his own ideas about what would happen next. OP, thanks for giving a good movie to watch while recovery from a hangover, + K
