ok, so I saw a few of their outfits at SIA, and all I have to say is wow
they are mad down with the quality aspect of things...we're talking industrial strength, which is exactly what I've been looking for
you can whine and bitch as high as the price is, but it will come down as they become more established, it's like that for any new company
I personally enjoy the notion that my stuff will last me a few seasons...i'm not the kind of guy who needs a new suit every year, and knowing that their stuff holds up is a huge plus( after feeling the material, i wouldn't be surprised if they used this stuff on deadliest catch), cuz i've gone through countless suits that just get torn apart every year, DC, SMS(half way through the season and it's all torn apart), Helly, burton, none of it has lasted for me, but if you're the kind that likes wearing a tracksuit on the hills, this shit is probably not for you...i just need something warm and robust for my 40 below days at Jay

I found their site a couple of weeks ago and cant wait till I can see some in person. They look like they make a quality product, like arcteryx quality in something that will actually fit me and look nice at the same time. I'm super glad to hear good things from someone who actually got to fondle some product.

I'm all about quality, but damn, I dunno, I just REALLY don't like the design/color. But that's just me.

If you like it, and have the $$ more power to you to support a small company!

Your right, I will bitch about the prices.. I like a lot of the designs, but that cosmic jacket is more than I spent on all my skiing gear this season, including skis.

i was, then I quit because they're 09-08 clothing wasn't in stores until january 09 "shipping mishap"...but there are a number of reasons why i quit with them

I'm sure they have fantastic quality, but i don't see the quality gain being worth it for me if the price is about twice what i'd pay for another pair of pants for example...

I'm just going to hope that the price does go down by the time Trew is on a more established production line.

Super dope company! Met the guys when we went to SIA....super chill. Great colors and quality. They actually have a kevlar cuffing on the bottom of the pant legs to keep them from ripping! a little pricey but very worth it!

Tried a jacket on in XL and fit super well, a really nice baggy/loose fit. Check their website for a list of areas that they are traveling around to in their RV! think the website is trewgear.com. They will be in Summit County this month...wheww!

word i didnt get my shit for a solid 3 months after ordering it, the excuses kept coming, but my outerwear wasnt anywhere in sight.
but once i did get it its fucking dope! i love the fit and couldnt be happier for what was relativley cheap gear i think $380 for the whole suit at 10k/10k.

agreed, my new sms stuff has lasted me and it's dope, but maybe thats because i didn't get it until january lol

haha word ive actaully only used it for like half the season. but hopefully itll last iat least through next year. the pants are teh only thing with a few rips on teh cuffs, but tht happens to all pants

A rep came in trying to pitch the gear to our shop, and even though the gear seemed legit, the rep seemed like a total douche so we sent him packing... word around squaw is that every other shop agreed.

As a shop person you have to realize that the relationship with the company almost means more than the quality of the product. This being said we dont carry Salomon or K2.
