Anybody got any experience with this company? How well to their ski jackets do in a PNW winter?

I picked up a Bellows jacket at a local store for 150 and am pretty stoked, just wondering if there is any local reviews.

Thanks

All I know is that I've heard nothing but good things. Our own young_hawaii will be sporting an all Trew setup this winter if I recall correctly.

honestly, I hated my trew. Ya it was really nice quality, but the fit was completely horrible.

xl pow funk. I'm 6'3", the jacket was way to short, needed to be 2" longer at least, i kept getting snow up it due to the length(i hate wearing a pow skirt as well). The sleeves were WAYYY to wide, like I could easily fit both my arms in 1 sleeve, it was fucking stupid. On top of that, the jacket seemed to just be designed for someone shorter then 5"10 and who weighs 300 pounds. Trew called the pow funk their "freestyle fit", more like fat hobbit fit.

i switched it out for an oakley jacket this season, i haven't warn it skiing yet but i am already far more happy with it

Thanks man, that definitely helps. I am just a bit shorter than you at 6'2", and definitely not 300 lbs, but it sounds like I may run into the same fit issues.

Balto i thought the exact same thing when i first tried it on. The whole jacket is a little disproportionate. But im pretty sure i will get past that...

ya i thought i would, but i didn't. It actually just got more annoying throughout the season to the point where i stopped using it for a while

Well shit, i can still return it for in store credit towards flylow gear... but im not sure haha.

Decision, decisions.

You buy? haha i really first wanna try it out on the mountain...

I will sell for 15 rides to the baker of mountain, 15 scones (any variety savory or sweet), and 4 assured days of ball deep pow pow.

For reals you want?

everything you hear is 100% true. the quality is top notch for the price, even beating the more expensive offerings from other brands. My post was just a warning for tall people, as the fit was obviously not designed with us truly in mind from what I experienced.

Don't be worried about how it will perform, it will far surpass your expectations, just the fit leaves a lot to be desired from my self and a few other's who i know experienced the same concerns

anyone got the zipper length on an XL bellows ?

how does the fit/length of it compare to say an armada XL jacket ?

does the eagle pant have mesh lined inner thigh vents or are they just open vents where the snow can get in ?

are the eagle pant and trewth bib similarly baggy or is one roomier than the other ?

thanks

i spend my winters in Niseko where waist deep snow is a weekly occurance, you'd be surprised how much snow can get in non mesh vents !

kk fair enough, anybody got some info on my other questions...............

i really like the eagle pants, but the fit of the trew pow funk jacket leaves much to be desired, much like thomas said.

THE ARMS ARE HUGE... but honestly other than that nothin is really off for me. oh and the neck is a bit long

I had a XL Powfunk and still have L Trewth bibs.
All the venting zips did not have mesh. I'd doubt that the Eagles do.
I seem to remember a 32" zipper length on my jacket. Would assume the same for the Bellows. Fit seems a bit baggier than Armada stuff I've tried on of the same size.
The bibs seem baggier; I tried on a L pair of a friend's Eagle pants.

Thanks for the info man, i'm 6'2" & 200 # so XL top and bottom should be all good, 32" zipper will work, my current jacket is 34" which is pretty long.

ok cool thanks, they run big in the waist, length, or both ?still not sure if i'll go with the eagle or trewth, if they run long that would help.

Trew designs their XL shit to fit comfy on a 6' 5" man. If you want them to be more traditional, L bibs. Baggy, XL.
