Trespassing Fines

Yesterday me and a few of my friends went up to a quarry to do what kids do at quarrys. and on our way back from the quarry we got busted by the cops. Appartently there were no trespassing signs up on the road. so long story short I ended up with a trespassing ticket that will be coming in the mail. Does anyone know how much a trespassing ticket is from experience?

a couple years ago me and some friends got busted, it was $90 each for the fines but i live in CT. just trying to give you some idea
 
i was reading on the internet and it was saying shit like fines up to 500 and or jail time up to 90 day. i hope it is nothing like this concidering i didnt really have anything on me either
 
nah you should be fine, me and some friends were in a state park after dark and they caught us with a full cooler of beer. they took the beer and gave us tickets, end of story
 
well according to this site...which seems to be legit because it is the state of pa and all, it says:

(vi) Assumpsit or trespass involving:

(A) $500 or less… $19.20

(B) More than $500 but not more than

$2,000… $30.50

(C) More than $2,000 but not more than

$4,000… $45.90

(D) More than $4,000 but not more than

$8,000… $76.35

 
first rule: "up to" means nothing, youll never get stuck with that result.

trespassing is generally something that can be pretty well dismissed in court, so long as youve got a justifiable argument.
 
i was kinda hoping that the fine would be relatively low concidering im 18 and living at home and wasnt going to tell my parents about this. i dont really have a reason why we were up there besides to toke up and i dont think that would go to well in court
 
so aparently we are getting charged with criminal trespassing since there was "posted" no trespassing signs. anyone on here taking law and know what that means? and if it is a legit reason for criminal trepassing?
 
no on the property. it was parked on the side of the road maybe on the property. it wasnt beyond the no trespassing signs
 
was it clearly marked?

if there are only a few signs and you were nowhere near them, i think you might be able to avoid it
 
ya it was clearly marked. i didnt see it on the way in but the officers showed it to us on the way out. is there a chance that i might get probation? since i am over 18
 
honestly, i think your worrying way too much. your going to a court like traffic court and they will give you a small fine or something stupid. its nothing fucking serious man, chill.

i'm being serious even though it doesn't sound like it
