periods. everyone these days uses a period. no one types a sentence without them

making a thread about a post milestone. the most common would be 1000. people that do always say the same thing, blah blah, ive learned so much in my time here, blah

win. quote someone, and just say win. apparently this means they say something good. i have no idea where just "win" came from

this. quote someone, and just say this. apparently this means they agree with what the quotee said

not using the searchbar. repeat threads are everywhere, start using the searchbar pelase

not knowing how to post links. you gotta take out the http:// damnit, i made a giant guide about how its done and still no one knows how to post a link

The great ability for people to post threads like 'what skis should I get' in ski gabber.

That is the single largest thing that pisses me off

Any thread with +k in the title just makes me want to do the opposite

I, as a like-minded individual, also find commas irritating. Furthermore, I find excessive punctuation in general, ";" or "...", obnoxious...oh wait...
I love commas...

Excessive use of "lol wut" in posts, whether it is on pear or text or whatever variety. This seems very trendy.

Sarcastic excitement in the form of: "OMGZ!!1!one!" It's always meant to convey that too cool for school mentality, and the aforementioned superiority claim. Sooo trendy right now.

shits ridic, if youre gonna give out karma, do it without telling the world. karma's meant to be given out, so dont try to bribe people by claiming +k, even though you should be giving it out in the first place..

Worse still, in an argument (usually political) someone will dismiss someone's thoughts or entire political ideology because they lazily used "its" instead of "it's"....uuugggghhh.
Oddly, all of the trendy posts (that I notice) are fucking obnoxious AND condescending/arrogant. I get violent urges to choke the spelling/grammar nazis.
 
YES! I was thinking of that when I opened the thread. So damn annoying. After every sentence he needs to put at least 10 periods................
 
I wonder if you checked over that with a fine tooth comb for any spelling/grammar errors hehe
 
Of course I did...because I knew some smartass...ahem...would be dying for the opportunity to throw that one back in my face hahaha
 
What you don't know, is that I had an internal debate about whether to use one there, or not. I chose not because I couldn't bear to have "hahaha" comprise an entire sentence. Then, I couldn't bring myself to place the period after "hahaha". I willfully disregarded the rules of punctuation in an act of defiance.
Or...I forgot the period. Your call.
 
Posting questions on the forums that can be much more easily be found by conducting a quick Google search in 30 seconds.
 
not sure if it was mentioned yet but combos. those are always fun.... until someone ruins them
 
it is nice. hahaha there was another thread where i wrote "who the fuck voted for that obama guy." noone even noticed... :(
