I was just wondering what do Shane and Jake use for the follow cams in the tc episodes. It looks like they use just a basic rig but the footage looks so smooth, do their cameras have built in image stabilization. Im asking because my knock off glidecam is very broken down and im looking to buy a new one, but if the footage they get in their videos is just from a handheld, basic rig, with no in camera stabilization, I may just buy a cheaper rig instead of shoveling out 350-400 for a glidecam.

sorry for the dub post, but i feel like the handle rig would be alot easier to Hold and ski with then a glide cam, at least from my expierence
 
A rig will do fine, I use one kinda similar to this but a few times I've had difficulty to keep the shots steady on 50+ feet jumps depending on how the knuckle is built and how fast I need to go. My friends with glidecam doesn't seem to have this problem, but again it's only on certain big jumps and to me it's not worth the price difference.
