Yeah I think he's kinda a fool in General, but managed to create a unique sound among the generic trap beat auto-tune crowd and has some really good tracks that are self produced. He was signed to Really Good Beats (Kanye's production label) As a produced before he made his own tracks.

Sure, make the argument that Owl Pharaoh Travis was better before he switched his focus, but everything on DBR is on par with what he's making now. Not just that, Its only been really a little over a year and a half since he switched his whole style up.

Pretty sure the dude has Aspergers or something which makes him mad awkward all the time. But yeah, he's definitely shaping the sound of trap rn and is really a phenomenal producer at times. He also knows his certain sound and its pretty often emulated by other rappers around him
 
I mean, that song was horrible. Why are these new rappers auto tuning even the parts where they're just rapping? Its awful.
 
Dude Travis Scott is not a "god". Aside from the fact that i think this kind of music is fucking awful, he plays no instruments, his voice is heavily heavvvillyyy produced, and those lyrics are fucking horrible. This kind of music is honestly cringe worthy. Alter you Axis.

SGP is whack now. Raider Klan invented any bit of style Travis Scott is selling. Simmie isn't even the best, X-Wulf and Denzel Curry are both way better. Simmie is trying to be white boy radio rap.

IMO Antidote is a decent song, but it's not his best work. It's just the one they play on the radio over and over.
