Cool idea but is it really that much better than the regular jefferey 102?

or is it just buying into a cool design, cause 1100 is steep

Yeah it's a steep price and it's the same ski but you are paying for the environmental aspect also to have a ski that is 1/1 if you got the money for that and that's your thing. I agree it's a bit much but I'm sure alot goes into it

The price is actually 50usd below their normal price for wood veneer customs.

Yes, 1100 is a lot - especially as Praxis pretty routinely sells their admittedly awesome veneers at considerably less, but if you want a ON3P veneer ski then the price is usually north of 1000usd,

yeah, and just to add - it takes a lot longer to produce veneer skis than regular top sheet skis. There are multiple layers of varnish on them and I would imagine that the lay up process is a bit more involved as well. So the extra cost reflect the added complexity and production time.

Wood veneers look absolutely amazing in person, though I prefer traditional topsheets as they do not require any maintenance.
