Transportation from Vancouver to Whistler this winter?

Yo guys,

just moved down to Van this fall for school - am in my second year of photography at Emily Carr. I'm just wondering what the best way to get up to Whistler is without a car, I'm only taking three classes next semester so will hopefully be spending a bunch of time up there. Got some buddies there so just to find rides back n forth. If anyone on here drives frequently i'd love to grab a seat in your car - will pitch gas money and good times for sure. hit me up if you're into it.

i have the same problem as you.

I decided to buy the snowbus season ticket (www.snowbus.com), i hope it was a good choice.

But it would be still great, if i meet someone who drives frequently to Whistler and has a seat for me.

My plan is to drive up to Whistler 3 days a week from North Van. Hopefully staying in a hostel occasionally to reduce the driving.

I've got a truck at the moment that relatively comfortably fits 3 but will probably be picking up a ski car that will fit 4 for the winter soon.

PM me for contact info. I'd be stoked to get a regular carpool going and save some gas money!
 
Might as well throw myself into the mix here! hopefully ill get to drive sometimes but when i can't I would love a ride from any of you fine people! i'd pitch gas money, good conversation, cariboo...the usual haha
 
I've created a Facebook group to coordinate rides. I'm not on NS every day so I figure this will be the easiest way to notify everybody when myself or others are driving up.

Search "NS Whistler Ride Share" to find the Group.
 
personally if i would ride share i would prefer if it was with someone who has been a member longer than 2 days, and don't we already have a thread for this?
