So ive been busy building my setup and basically just making it up as I go. At the moment im onto the transition which Ive screwed up lol. But it will be easy to fix. Obviously I'll have to change the curve radius but I'm not sure how much. And the gap between the middle of the skis and the curve should be less when theyr bending with me on them. Heres a few pictures

So to help me put it would be sweet if people could post how much gap they have between skis and their curve when they just sit them on it. And also how much it slows you down or messes up your skis.
And heres a pic of the rest of my setup for anyone interested

just start your transition earlier. I made mine without any real curves. Three parts seemed to be perfect. It is perfectly smooth though. You can just keep bumping it out and changing the angle by screwing on aanother 2 by 4 at less of an angle. I used 2 by 6s but you could use 2 x4s and probly be ok.

How tall is your tower and whats the flat distance from the bottom of ramp side of the tower to your kicker?I dont have a huge backyard and Im trying to fit at least a 3m box/rail in as well

The tower is 5 feet tall. Im not sure about the length. Space was defiantly not an issue for me so i didnt worry about it. You could always start it even steeper to take up less space. You defiantly have to start your transition way higher up though.

Im making the transition start a bit higher does this look good? Nothing is supported properly yet just playing around to see what looks good

yeah way better. You have the right i idea of laying it out fist. Get the curve by putting your skis on it and feeling what is reasonable. Then make it strong once you get it looking correct.
