Transferring to the U

My GPA from my current school is pretty low, 2.02 and I'd like to transfer to the U of U, but I'm guessing it's far too low. The site says anything under 2.6 will likely not be admitted. Just curious if 2.6 is pretty much the difference between yes and no or if maybe they will accept lower than that
 
If you pulled out a high 30 on your act they might consider you but probably not. Go to SLCC for a few semesters get a higher GPA and transfer is the best route if you want to go to the U
 
If I keep my grades up at Weber and want to transfer to the U does that normally go pretty smoothly? Or is it hard to transfer?
