my dad has a thing with trampolines and wont let me get one it gay so how can i convince him to change his mind i.e. he thinks there dangerous
 
tie him up and tell him you'll cut his nuts off if he doesnt give you a trampolien and $9million.
 
definately tell him about the net, also that you are thinking of making one yourself or trying to train for skiing by jumping off the roof because you cant get a trampoline, but be dead serious. ill bet he gets you one then....
 
Tell him to pay for tramp class at a local gym and then he will get one in the second year instead of paying for gym class.
 
i take it this comes from personal experiences...

combine the ideas in this thread! explain the whole net thing, dig it in, weigh up the cost of classes vs just getting one.

not so sure about the jumping off the roof thing though. that could strengthen the "your an idiot and will do something stupid and hurt yourself doing it" argument on your dads part.
 
It would be so sick if you could get it dug into the ground. It'd be like, amazing. And any fear of falling off or flipping off and missing the net or landing on the side bars would vanish.
 
tell him its either you go to Camp of Champions to practice or you get a trampoline to practice skiing on
 
my friend has one that has these weird ass springs and a net thats permanantly attatched and super secure. i think he got it from cosco and its mad legit. bounces soo much higher then reg ones and i love seshin it cause i can just huck without bein scared of flyin off
 
yeah cosco also has like safety trampolines that use bands instead of springs. it doesnt bounce as high, but its still really fun. id suggest advocating for a net
 
ya mine is dug into the ground. and its pretty sick, but if u land wrong, u can slide into the cracks in between the edge of the trampoline and the ground.
 
speaking of trampolines, i tried a back flip and pretty much fucked up! i landed on my head and am lucky i dident break my neck!
 
just tell him if you dont get a trampoline, you'll just try the tricks skiing, which is much more dangerous......my bud used this argument and got a tramp...both of his parents are doctors too....
 
fuck trampolines. i dislocated my shoulder today on one. i went for cork 10 and didnt quite come around with my cork and put my hand out. most pain ive felt in a longg time
