do trampolines affect homeowner's insurance?

i've wanted a tramp for a long time and finally got my parents to give in. however, they won't let me buy one if it requires us to change our insurance policy or if the tramp's not covered etc... we've contacted the insurance company but they're taking weeks to respond

does anybody with a tramp have experience with this?

you better check, i offered to BUY my own trampoline, but my parents home owners insurance said THEY WOULD DROP US! pissed me off....

this was my first idea... until i found out our insurance agency had people check our lot 5 times last year

the insurance we have is MetLife if anyone knows about their policy

i couldn't find it on their website but i'm working on contacting them again

noooooooooooooo!

noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

i really hate things being restricted by insurance, liability laws, lawyers etc...

Fucking insurance company came to measure my house and such. My parents get a letter saying we have to take down the trampoline. Fucking bullshit. This si at my summer house in VT that this is happening at so it is down now, but my dad wrote a letter back saying that the trampoline is for my ski training so they are going to have to find another person to write the insurance haha. I hope it works becasue the trampoline is going up regardless in the summer.

i have had mine tramp for about 6 years know. we didnt tell then incurance company, and they heven't check our lot.

if you realy worried you should probably check that out.

ahahahah love thisI do to my man

but how about putting a net around it? Diminishes the chances of injury by alot!! i.e falling off and shit
