Tramdock is gone?

Wow this is terrible. I have a sticker collection in my garage and the tramdock chain was getting pretty impressive. Bummer, hopefully they bring it back.

God fucking damn it. I loved having a skier gear only site. I wonder why they shut it down? Steep&Cheap, Tramdock, whiskey militia, etc. are all owned by backcountry.com, so maybe it was a financial decision.
does anyone know how long tramdock has been around? I found out about SAC through TGR back in like 07, and SAC used to always have ski gear, but then Tramdock popped up somewhere along the way. As soon as TD came along, I quit going to SAC. Looks like I'll have to go back to SAC.
I'd really like to know what the reasoning is behind this.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

This is pretty wild. I'm not sure why they would shut TD down. I don't want to have to go looking through camping and hiking gear to find ski deals that I wanted.

Lamp yourselves kiddies... Backcountry bigwig Mark Parrett had this to say about it...

The ski gear on SAC will be better now. And I'm here to alert you as to when it's coming, so really the only thing you've lost is the ability to buy Scott Gloves, Skullcandies, Naish Kites and janky hoodies 24/7 b/c that's kind of been the story on Tram for the past 3 months.

Of the folks running
SAC - we are all skiers and we will not ever abandon ski in the world of ODAT. SO, don't despair and maybe even trust me that this is a net positive for all.

So basically, just pay attention to Gear Swap over on TGR and Wunderkind will tell you when you should be popping boners and heating up the 'ol debit card. Dude is the man and has been letting maggots know well ahead of time for a few months now, which is nice.

I remember those days. Tramdock used to be the place to go. They hooked me up with a Hestra poster signed by Anthony Boronowski and gave me tons of stickers.
