Tracing Skylines or Partly Cloudy

Partly Cloudy if you prefer jibbing. Tracing Skylines if you like pow. They both have a good mix though.
 
Buy Partly Cloudy and rent Tracing Skylines? I've watched TS once and wouldn't watch it again, while I've watched Partly Cloudy a ton, so many good segments
 
THIS. Partly Cloudy is a great movie with lots of rewatch potential. Tracing Skylines...I watched it once and I doubt I will watch it again, I wish I had rented.
 
I think partly cloudy. Tracing Skylines has several sick segments but partly cloudy is banger after banger and it doesn't stop. Along with the real skifi section I think it has way more originality and is way more unique.
 
Get both if you have the money but I would say partly cloudy. Some of the segments are just too good.
 
Preordered both, usually a big PBP fan but Partly Cloudy no question. Tracing Skylines I think was one of the most questionable PBP movies in a long long time and Partly Cloudy was one of the best Level 1 films. Though Into the Mind is now on iTunes as well.
 
if you want just a straight ski film get pc. if you are looking for something with more of a storyboard style layout get ts. they are both ill, everyone slays. i've watched both films several times.

as always - I love level 1. I think berman is the best film maker in the game. And of course, the skiing is top notch. Will has the much deserved opener and it will blow your mind. on the other hand, this is the most rad poor boyz film i've watched in years. big ups to pep, seth, andy mahre, khai and karl. WILD SHIT.

also, a fifth (or more) of ts is ski mountaineering. I dig that shit cause i live in salt lake and go for tours on the regs, but if you are a strict park skier you prolly wont.
 
I preordered DVD style on Partly Cloudy cause I'm super weird, so I haven't seen it yet. That being said, I'm absolutely confident that PC is the way to go. I have seen Tracing Skylines, and while I like the skiers, the skiing, and a lot of the filming, it just doesn't work for me as a film. If your going to have that much talking, its going to have to be a lot more sincere (not forced), and your going to have to find a way to make me care about what you're saying. I spent a lot of time watching TS and saying to myself "I really don't care. Dope trick. Dope shot. But what you just said, I really don't care". I know this is kind of re hashing the typical critique of PBP, but that's my two cents. Sunny was super sick, and by all accounts, Partly Cloudy is super sick too.
