Hiked up to it yesterday via the Bridle Path on the shoulder of Lafayette. No visibility up there, but it was cool looking down below. Check it out.

All in all, fun was had and hopefully our offering will make the ski gods smile upon us.

 
True, in most instances. However, every October, 2-4 pairs of skis must be sacrificed to Ullr. In this case, it was a pair of 190 PRE's and a pair of 180 something BD Havocs missing 3 feet of edge.
 
chances are they were obsolete. most (if not all) shops won't even tune a ski that has an obsolete binding attached to it, much less mount one on a ski
 
i see a pair of 912s and a pair of 957s or 757s, both respectable bindings, but i guess it will just make it snow more burning the whole set up.
