Tow-in jump

So I dropped the idea to my mom about making a jump at the top of our hill and then using my friend's sled to tow off the jump and gap onto the down slope. i have 87 acres, and a few hills. if i were to get the "Okay" i wouldn't need to go to a mountain because i would make anything with our tractor.

she says no. fml

mom:

"I dont like the idea of you getting pulled by a motorized vehicle. it could run you over!"

like getting run over by something that is towing you, is possible

ill post picks of my hill tomorrow, too dark now

I did that quite a bit this past winter at my friends farm. A guy i know made a 40ft gap at his farm snowmobile tow-in. The landing was a big pile of feed

You should have just not asked and just went and did it. I think you would still need to go to a hill. It's fun to tow, but it's not quite the same as skiing down a hill if you know what i meandouble post

no no no... ASK. I started to make a backyard set-up in my yard, and my dad flipped a shit and threatened to make me take all my set-ups down and destroy my MTB jumps. Get permission. They might make you change a few things, but dont quit.

yea askings always a good idea, most of the time they think you are more mature and being smart about it, and can usually encourage you to do it. just keep asking and eventually she will say yes. look up facts about being safe about it, tell her what she wants to hear and bingo! fun for ever.
good luck man
