Touring with Elan Boomerangs?

Just came into possession of a pair of 2014 Elan Boomerangs and was considering mounting them for touring.

Does anybody have any experience touring in boomerangs? Would you recommend it? Theres not much info online about them, but from what I can find, its supposed to be a nice big-mountain backcountry ski.

It’s a free country bro, you do you. Ain’t no right or wrong answers in the backcountry. You’ll probably end up changing your mind after a few tours regardless of what you do.

They sound too wide for touring with in my opinion.

Honestly, once you go over 110 wide, its a bit too much, and just bogs you down.
