Touring w/ One lifes

So currently I have a pair of jjs with griffons and wanted to start doing some touring. I also have an unmounted pair of One lifes. So I have a couple questions. I will most likely be getting dukes. If not I will get naxos.1. Can you even skin with one lifes because of the insanely short effective edge?2. Should I take the griffs off the jjs and put them on the one lifes and then mount the jjs with dukes?If I did do number 2 could I mount the duke in the same holes as the griffons were in?

i know people who tour on rockered skis, they say it isn't too bad. i think jj+duke would be a sick backcountry setup though

i would not get naxos, i have heard lots of bad stories, if not dukes check out the fritschi freerides
