Touring boot that is compatible with look pivot 15 bindings

Bootfitter is the best and pretty much only option if you want to be satisfied with your boot. That being said, there are multiple options: FT Ascendant, Dalbello Lupo, K2 Mindbender, Salomon Shift, Lange XT Tour (or whatever it’s called), most Roxa boots. These all have tech inserts, walk mode, and soles compatible with pivot afd’s (as far as my knowledge goes)

As of now just looking for a touring boot that is compatible with pivots and the casting system…I’ll probably look at something used on Facebook marketplace or on here. But yea I’ll consider those…just need the lightest/flexiest boot there is

If you wanna use a boot with a pivot it’ll have to be GripWalk or ISO 5355 which is gonna be most “50/50” boots like people listed above. Lupo, Ascendant, XT3, Shift Pro, R3 TI, Cochise, etc. Any true touring boot like a Dynafit Hoji, Scarpa Maestrale, La Sportiva Vanguard etc.. are not certified to work with Pivots and therefore it’s not advised to use them as such…. People do, but release can be effected as there is no hard plastic in the soles to interact with the AFD properly. Next year Scarpa is doing the 4Quattro with Bode Miller which will be GripWalk ISO 23223 so they theoretically will work with pivots. Sub 1600g, 130 flex, 61° ROM…. I know I’m getting one

Do u think I could get by with dynastic boots on pivots? Only gonna be using those boots for touring. Resort skiing I will be doing will be on my other boots I have

By dynastic I’m assuming autocorrect changed Dynafit…. If that is correct, then theoretically you can “get away” with it but they will not release properly upon falling. Binding and boot norms exist for a reason and trying to work around them usually leads to hospital bills and crutches

Yea I meant dynastar….found a good deal on a pair for $175. But I guess I will keep looking
