Touring bindings or no for rocker2?

I plan on buying rocker2 115s sometime soon. I want to know if I should get touring bindings or just go with standard bindings? I ride probably %70 park and %30 trees or backcountry. Last season I probably got around 10 backcountry days so not very many, but I want to know if I were to buy touring bindings if I would go up anymore? I realize I will have to buy skins as well. (obviously). So should I get touring bindings or save my money? and what bindings should I get? I have griffins on my current park skis and Im a fan but im open to anything.
 
If you're only going to the backcountry 10 days a year, trekkers would probably be all you need. Don't put touring bindings on a ski you will mostly use in the park, unless you want to walk up the park with your skis on.

 
I guess it depends on how many other pairs of skis you have, I have touring bindings on a pair of skis that I use for skiing the mountain and touring. That being said, skiing groomers with a touring setup can be a little awkward at times because most touring bindings have a little more lift off the ski than traditional bindings. Depending on your weight, you could get a pair of barons which will work well for skiing and touring if you only plan on doing it occasionally. Trust me, once you use touring bindings once, you will never want to use trekkers again. Hope some of this helps
 
Touring is where its at, if you want to get into it, get some bindings. Day Wreckers (Trekkers) will only make you wish you had some real bindings. And honestly to whoever said it was awkward to ski on touring bindings is wrong, just takes a tiny bit of getting used to with the extra rise but they ski just fine.
 
Go for some guardians or trackers. They feel pretty similar to a standard binding height wise so you can rip them round the whole mountain still. Awsome choice of ski too those things are awsome, which seasons you getting the rockers or the q's
 
If i had the money i would go for a MFD Alltime set up with some FKS. But they are making them compatible with tyrolia ,Marker and salamon/atomic as well. This set up will tear shit up!!

 
^ they have had plates that work with other bindings already. There not a bad option but no real point in them. They just add more weight and affect the flex of the ski even more then a touring binding. If you go something like guardian they feel just as solid as an sth binding anyway, so the only reason I could see to get mfds is if you already have skis with alpine bindings on an you want to convert them.
 
Truth. An MFD setup is extremely heavy, plus everyone I know who has used them has broken them numerous times. I'd go with the Duke or guardian
 
If you're not planning on skiing any park with them I'd put some guardians on them. I've got Dukes I mainly use in the resort and you get used to them pretty quick.
 
if you already have other skis for park, i dont see any reason not to buy some touring bindings. I would say that guardians are the way to go, because they are a bit lower to the ski than markerdukes. Or, if you already have other bindings you might want to get MFD alltimes. If you buy touring gear, you will probably get into the backcountry a lot more, because skinning is a million times easier than hiking (usually). Dukes, alltimes, and Guardians all ski just like normal bindings on the downhill, so you can take them in the resort with no problems.
 
I'd say dukes over guardians. Yes the change mode takes longer but they are a more reliable binding. Plus, they are changing the guardian hole pattern next year and its gonna be much heavier.
 
^no they aren't it's the same binding as last season, they are just adding a 13 din version as well. They are changing the sth binding next season maybe that's what you were thinking of.
