Who on team Astana do you think will end up as the go to guy. Levi? Lance? Contador? Kloden?

I say lance, because...well because he's lance

Contador has the time advantage right now and he was the original pick, so I'm going to go with him. Although it would be awesome to see Lance get in a leader pack and hold it to take a big lead.

armstrong will win. all those fucks that say hes too old and out of shape. its the lightest he's ever weighed and there will be faster despite that fact that hes a bo$$. easily the fittest athlete to compete in any given sport.

lance>contador>levi>fabian

i think the thing that a lot of people are worried about with lance is whether or not hes fully in shape again after his shoulder/collarbone injury.

I dont think theres really going to be a go to guy on team astana. They dont really have the same team relationship as other teams so lance and contador will probably just end up fighting against eachother for the jersey.

Dad's all fired up on Astana because he has the same Bike he has.

He is seriously into roadbiking. Spent 8 grand on his freakin bike.

Lance wouldnt come back if he didnt think he could win. It's him or Contador, they have both won tours before, we will see who it will be.

The current standings mean nothing, they've still got the alps to go. There's only 3 summit finishes so until about stage 15 speculation is simply that

yeah, it's like either you don't do it, or you are obsessed with it. these guys are in RIDICULOUS shape though, props

FACT: This years tour is 2,149 miles.

800 more than previously stated above which is rediculous on a bik ein a 3 week period, 100mi a day about.

for what i've seen in the last kms of the Andorra stage, Contador seems to be the strongest on the mountains... but in this year's Tour (as usual) mountains stages count to a certain extent (and this sucks, btw... have you seen sunday stage, how such a legendary mountain like Tourmalet was disrespected by organizers plannig the finish line 70km ahead?)...

anyway Contador is pretty fast in time trial stages as well, so i think he will be the winner... moreover, as long as Lance has not gained yellow jersey yet (like it could happen on the team time trial stage), he'll more free to make his own race, without being subject to team rules...

On Astana, the best rider is definitely Contador. Lance USED to be a monster in the mountains but he's slowed down with age. Plus, he'll be too closely marked by all the other favorites. Alberto won't let Johan Bruyneel and Lance get in the way of him winning a 2nd tour. He already proved this in stage 7.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Lance is all media hype.

I am really hoping that Andy Schleck just destroys everybody in the Alps. It would be awesome to see him win this year.
