Torstein landed a triple in the X-games!! (snowboarding)

I can'T beleive they give torstein the gold, this is relly bad for the sport. HE should switch to arial skiing. THe jump was not big enough and the landing was to flat to do a legit triple. I'M just scared that the skiers will attemp a triple tonight in the big air and got score well. :(
 
whoever said it was barely grabbed is fucking stupid. He held the grab for all three flips.

And he can throw the same tricks as all the other riders, just as clean. He is the best snowboarder out there right now.

It was sooo sick he landed it, broken rib and all. After taking that spill on the first try I can't believe he went and tried it 2 more times before sticking it.

Was it steezy? No.

He did grab for all 3 flips I'm not sure what other people are talking about. He deserved to win, not in the fashion that it happened, Seb Toots should have got a better score on his last run, but they gave Torstein such a shit score on his triple so they had to make sure he won, at least thats what I think. Last year they gave out a 50 to Halldor for doin a dub 12, why wouldn't Torstein get a 50 (with a few docked points for the hand drag)?

Sick contest for sure, hope skiing is as good tonight
 
i completely agree. The triple he threw not in comp was alright looking, but this just looked like absolute crap. Ya, it takes nuts but it looks horrible. I'm not an inb4 aerials person, the trips thrown in skiing so far havent been bad, but if this is what they are going to turn into in competitions i would rather stick with b-dog's style.
 
All i can think right now is why is this in Ski Gabber, i may be slightly dumb but i am like 98.3% sure that Torstein is a snowboarder, if i am wrong someone just let me know okay.
 
torstein is my fav snowboarder. plus if u see some of his videos he has so much fun when he boards. which is the main goal in park boarding and skiing. IMO

plus hes crazy he just goes for shit

and he has broken ribs. its so crazy. i wouldnt ride with broken ribs. no way
 
i was stoked not because he did a triple, but because he did a different trick than anyone else. all the other riders were doing either front or back double cork 1080 with a mute grab, except for mcmorris who was doing cab double 1080 nose grabs. honestly, i dont really know what was going on because i was just too high. but as far as i can remember thats how it was going down.

it was pretty sick regardless.
