Torrents not finishing

I've been using torrents for a long time now, but all of a sudden I'm having this issue with them not finishing. It's really weird, they always get up around 99. something percent, keep downloading at really high speeds, but never move closer to completion.

It started a little bit after I got to school, so I'm assuming it must be something with the University firewall, but it's just so goddamn weird.

Anybody else having this problem?
 
Is it happening with all of your torrents? What site are you using?

You could be trying to download a torrent that doesn't have a seeders with all of the data you need to finish your download. It would say you are still downloading but you are just downloading 'rubbish data' and you aren't actually getting the stuff you need.
 
I use isohunt for my torrents and bitcomet as my client.

See here's the thing, I've noticed it has only been happening with music, i.e. I've yet to have a problem downloading an episode of Weeds, something I've been doing a lot lately.

And the other thing is, it's pretty regular, It's even happening when I'm downloading ridiculously over-seeded files. I'm trying to download a CD that has 2.5k seeds and only 300 leechers right now that's stuck at 99.6. That's why I'm hesitant to believe it's a problem with the seeders.
 
if the song play for two seconds then ends it means the file was corrupted, you have to re download. whats sites are you guys using?
 
Ya ive actually been noticing that a lot lately, i usually just wait it out and it usually finishes in anywhere from like half an hour to 4 hours
 
i suggest using torrentbytes.net it's a private site, so you'll get much quicker speeds etc.
