Toronto Urban Spots?

Since it recently snowed like a motherfucker in T.Dot. I was just wondering if anyone knows any good (and not too hard) urban spots in Toronto. High Park area preferably.

It would be sick if there was some sort of forum catagory where you just list sick urban spots. i think my brother told me about some snowboarders doing that on their site. sounds kinda sick.

my dad used to live by christie subway station and theres some decent ledges around there and a nice park with some decent places for a kicker

There's actually tons of spots on Younge street but that's always EXTREMELY crowded so that's a useless piece of information...

if you want to get robbed
Allenby jr public school there are some sick ones, its at St clements and Avenue rd

i live etobicoke area, there's a decent d-f-d on the side of dundas there, and the centennial park area has some shit

haha i know, but its not as helpful as i was hoping it would. it would be sick if it was like a google maps thing and people like pin sick spots on the map, with a description. I saw a kind of thing like that in Thrasher. Has anyone heard of the Ravina rail? its in a park called Ravina near Annette and Bloor. would be sick if a bunch of nsers seshed it together.

Shit, the dfd i saw was almost right after coming off the 427 onto danforth. my bad. it's legit though, like 35 feet and landings maybe a bit sketch with the road 6-7 metres away so do it at like 2-3 at night.

Someone was making something like that a while ago. it was cool. dont know what happened to it...

Built a little kicker onto a dfd in scarborough at Wexford park near the walmart lube, I broke my shovel piling it up so the runout crosses a paved path. Long ass run in, could probably get over on the rail the otherside of the stairs

on ashtonbee btween pharmacy and warden.

the high park bike jumps look skiable i made a mission over there the other day, and theres a really sick rail that some kids set up at glenview school in lawrence park, ill show u if u want

redpath and manornear yonge and eglinton (just south east)bus route:take subway to eglinton, take 54 (or any bus's going east) to redpath and walk south up to the top of the hill

I doubt you will see this but I saw a guy walking into the the subway station at yonge and lawrence this afternoon with his outerwear on and skis in hand. I assume he was just hitting an urban nearby or going to hit one. If you see this let me know what you were doing.

Also, let me know if your ever going to hit that urban I posted^. If tomorrows a snowday I would be down to go sesh it.

this is sick, id be down to hit that one mellow down someone showed before. tmos gonna be a snowday so its ideal. theres also a nice rail near swansea school and a dfd (I think) at Ravina Park, behind Humberside CI. Also, in the same area theres a school called Western Tech and they have a seemingly hitable dfd. i saw some snowboarders building a kicker and then were tons of cameras so its prolly doable.

Yeah dude, maybe if the storm calms down somewhat by the afternoon. I'm not good enough for big dfd's

and shit but that mellow one is right up my alley and close by hahah

I'll say it in this thread too

GET OFF THE FUCKING INTERNET, FIND SOME FRIENDS, AND FIND YOUR OWN URBANS.

What the fuck is wrong with you people? You live in a HUGE CITY with thousands of options. Yet, you come on here, ask for specific locations to rinse & repeat urbans. LAME AS FUCK

Open your eyes, smoke a blunt, roll your balls off, whatever you need to do to "get creative",if thats what you want to call it.

yo have u seen the ufa rails? theres a dfd and a down rail that are so sick, to talk to me tmo about hitting urban, i know a spot thats been set up already

DFD at forest hill elementary its on spadina south of eglinton i think. its a gnarly rail and has a lot of room for run in and stuff

lololololol what a badass. we should all be like this guy! smoke blunts, do something with testicles and then find some sick ass "creative" urban and hit it. Doesnt get more hood than smoking, touching testicles and gettin creative. the thread wasnt "Comment something gay if your a true thug who likes smoking and balls" it was for urban in toronto. dont comment if your gonna be douchebag

Haters going hate, but your a uncreative pussy whose probably afraid to actually walk around in downtown Toronto. Hence why kids come on here, asking for "good spots".

Asking for urban spots to me =

"I am a little white kid from the suburbs, whose scared of any confrontation with police or city people. Due to my fear, please show me urbans with 100% safety. As i am terrified to take any actually walk the streets myself and find them"

threads like this is the "pussification" of certain aspect of our sport.

i remember that and it died down cuz no one gives up there good urban spots. i have like 6 that have never been hit and their sick. but i wont tell a soul unless their comin to sesh with me

I's thinkin they might be lookin for someone to ride with, not easy findin others dumb enough to try this stuff

That being said, tell me this ain't badass there's a hella long run in with 2 flat spots in between, could build 2 kickers plus this

There is a ton of great shit around Christie subway station for the person asking. There's Christie Pits, which has some fun stuff, there's a school right across Bloor which has some fun downrails, gaps, and some DFDs I haven't done yet.

I posted this in another thread but I'll repost it here.

So I worked for the City of Pickering for the pass two summers and this is what I've found. If you want more info feel free to message me:

Well, yeah. Schools usually have the best handrails. They also seem to be built around parks when they're downtown too, so you have a little bit of a hill rather than the rest of of this flat, flat city.

yeah, its behind a building where no one goes. We planned to hit it this year but so far nothing has happened
